Florida Trial Litigation Lawyer Don Conwell Named Among Florida’s “Legal Elite” By Peers

Attorney G. Donovan Conwell Jr. Voted By Florida Peers For Inclusion In Florida Trend’s 2006 Legal Elite

TAMPA, Fla. (July 10, 2006) – Florida lawyer G. Donovan Conwell Jr. (Don Conwell) was named among the 2006 Florida Legal Elite, a designation determined by votes from lawyers throughout the state and published by the business magazine Florida Trend.

Don Conwell is a trial attorney in Florida who specializes in business litigation with an emphasis in intellectual property, computer and internet law. He is a founding member of the Tampa based law firm Conwel and Kirkpatrick, P.A..

Florida Trend’s Legal Elite ranking is based on the results of a statewide ballot distributed every year to lawyers throughout Florida who are asked to vote for Florida’s top lawyers. While participating attorneys are allowed to vote for up to 10 of their peers, their selections must be for attorneys in Florida whom the voter has worked with personally or recommended to others.

Less than two percent of the lawyers whose names are submitted make the final list of “Florida’s Legal Elite”. Don Conwell was also included in Florida Trend’s 2005 Florida Legal Elite.

In addition to being named among the Florida Legal Elite, Don Conwell also was recently recognized as a “Florida Super Lawyer” by Law & Politics magazine, a peer selected designation achieved by fewer than five percent of the lawyers in Florida.

Conwell also recently was featured in the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Who’s Who in Law for his court room achievements in intellectual property and internet law.
