A Florida native, Suzanne is a summa cum laude graduate of the Florida State University and Boston University School of Law.  Suzanne's interest in copyright and technology law began while she was attending Florida State University where, in addition to her collegiate studies, Suzanne worked for the technology company PC DOCS, Inc.  While at PC DOCS, Suzanne learned first hand about the legal and technology challenges faced by software companies.  Suzanne's interest in technology shaped the focus of her studies in law school at Boston University, where she earned the Distinguished Scholar Dean's Award in Copyright Law and served as technical editor of the Journal of Science and Technology Law.

 

Suzanne began her practice in Massachusetts as a corporate lawyer focusing on business transactions.  After practicing for a short time in Boston, Suzanne returned to the Tampa area, re-focusing her practice on litigation.

 

Suzanne is married and has three young children who keep her busy outside of work with baseball, soccer, ballet and other activities.  She is an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America where she serves, along with her husband, as a leader for their son's Cub Scout Pack.
