Brent has experience litigating complex matters.  He has extensive business experience and handles a variety of cases involving business, fraud, intellectual property, technology, shareholder disputes, real estate and general contract litigation.

Brent earned his B.S.B.A. (Finance), M.B.A. and Juris Doctorate degrees from the University of Florida.  While at Florida, he was a member of the Florida Law Review and the Journal Law and Public Policy.

Prior to joining Conwell Kirkpatrick, Brent worked for several years as Associate General Counsel for Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc. handling a variety of complex matters both domestically and internationally, including matters involving new product development, contracts, business development, sales and marketing, operations, acquisitions and development.  He also has worked for one of the Florida's largest law firms.

Brent is married and has two children.  He is active in his children's school and local church.  He also enjoys participating in a wide variety of sports.
